Three rate decisions will be taken this week from three different central banks, but the yen is in serious decline after BoJ Governor Kuroda said the bank will maintain its ultra-loose monetary policy and that it would be prepared to do more if necessary. Elsewhere we’re looking to see what effects the French presidential elections have on the euro, as well as the ongoing atrocities in Ukraine. CPI data will no doubt keep rising which will spur the FOMC etc. to keep raising rates more aggressively.
