Crude oil prices have broken out to fresh annual highs since the start of the week, largely thanks to OPEC+’s decision to stick to its plan to hike output by 400K barrels per day in November as opposed to caving to international pressure and bringing more supply back online. WTI has subsequently broken into the $78.00s per barrel and is about to test key areas of resistance.
