Gold continues to grind lower within the confines of a long-term downwards trend channel that has been in play since last August, during which time the precious metal has dropped back from all-time highs above $2070 to recent March lows in the $1670s. The last two weeks has seen the precious metal rebound about $100 from lows, however, and the short-term technicals have looked more positive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
